Awards for CUI & CUPS
for Phonon Diagnostics Technique PDT

Phonon Diagnostics Technique (PDT): An Advanced Inspection Method for CUI and CUPS

This award recognizes the successful implementation of the Phonon Diagnostics Technique (PDT) for the inspection of Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) and Corrosion Under Pipe Supports (CUPS). Developed by Phonon Diagnostics Technologies Ltd. (UK) and delivered globally by SHARK Consulting FZ-LLC, the technology was recognized for its innovative design, effectiveness in hard-to-reach areas, and applicability in upstream oil & gas operations.

Building on this achievement, the Advanced PDT – MultiPhonon system has now been launched, providing a faster, smarter, and more reliable patented phonon-based NDT solution, aligned with the future of in-service inspection and maintenance.
